AIDS Walk Houston 2008

The Lariats participated in AIDS Walk Houston and we are proud to announce that we raised a total of $5100. The weather was perfect, the people were wonderful, and we know we contributed to a wonderful cause.  It is not every day that a group of people can all walk together, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race or religeon and all embrace each other and know that what you are doing can help so many people. 

Illuminations Project

The Lariats performed as part of Project Illuminations at The Hobby Center's Zilkha Hall on December 6, 2008 starting at 7:30pm.  There were many other featured performers sharing the stage with the Lariats and all proceeds benefit AIDS Foundation Houston, Montrose Counceling Center, Legacy Community Health Services and AssistHers theough ERSICSS.   For more information please email ILLUMINATIONSPROJECT@YAHOO.COM.
